Unhappy kiddo!

Learn new ways to cut your autistic child’s hair

UNFORTUNATELY, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO A LACK OF INTEREST.

Getting your kid’s hair cut … the thought sends chills down your spine, doesn’t it?  The constant redirection.  The moving, yelling, screaming or kicking.  The meltdowns!

We all have our challenges when it comes to taking our autistic kiddos for haircuts.  (Thank God for the iPad!)  Thankfully, our friends at Autism Action Partnership have setup a FREE educational event for you to come and meet with one of their BCBA specialists and learn new ways to get your child’s hair cut!

Date: February 13, 2018
Time: 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Location: Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center, 6400 South, University Drive Road North, Omaha, NE 68182
Cost: FREE

Please note: Event capacity is limited. (As a courtesy to others who may want to attend please check your availability before registering to insure your commitment.)

Brad Wendel

I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska (GO BIG RED) and live there with my wife Mindi and our 5-year old son, Alex. Alex was diagnosed on the Spectrum in the Spring of 2014. Originally non-verbal, Alex has made massive leaps in speech and motor development thanks to local therapists, teachers, assistants and countless recreational and educational activities available to residents of the Omaha area. I promise to work hard and make sure you are aware of everything available to you and your special needs children.
