The Amazing Pizza Machine is hosting a Sensory-Friendly Night on Monday, January 29 from 4 to 9 PM.
I for one am thrilled that this is happening! This event was created by a group of 4 local Autism moms who have worked over a year to get this organized. (Thank you, thank you, thank YOU on behalf of the Clubhouse!)
The Pizza Machine is a favorite party spot for the neurotypical kids of so many of our friends, and while it is a place full of fun, most days it should be considered a sensory thunderstorm for kids on the Spectrum. All of the games, sounds, lights and noise from the other kids are exactly what ASD parents dread to encounter whenever we leave the house. But Pizza Machine is awesome!
We’re looking forward to seeing how Alex responds to Pizza Machine in a sensory-safe state.
Hope to see you there!
