Tuesday Play Club for Special Needs Kids in Lincoln

The Lincoln Parks and Recreation and Special Olympics Nebraska Young Athletes have teamed up to provide a Play Club for special needs kids ages 2-7 and their families.  They will meet on Tuesdays from 6:00-6:45 PM at the Calvert Recreation Center from now through April 24.

As you can see on their flyer, they’ll have plenty of music and physical education activities for the kiddos, and siblings are welcome!

Pre-registration is required.  Contact Sherry Connett at 402-441-7948 to register.

Brad Wendel

I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska (GO BIG RED) and live there with my wife Mindi and our 5-year old son, Alex. Alex was diagnosed on the Spectrum in the Spring of 2014. Originally non-verbal, Alex has made massive leaps in speech and motor development thanks to local therapists, teachers, assistants and countless recreational and educational activities available to residents of the Omaha area. I promise to work hard and make sure you are aware of everything available to you and your special needs children.

Let us know what you think!
